Don't you all agree that a persons bike today is much like a persons horse of yesteryear? You know what happened to horse thieves, or is that too radical an idea? Discuss.

The yellow Schwinn Varsity I used on my daily commute during college in Colorado, come rain, shine or snow, now THAT was a horse.

Here in Portland OR many of the sidewalkes date from the early 1900's and there are still the old iron horse ties on them! We also have bike ties here too..

I oppose the death penalty, so bike thieves should have to piggy-back you to where ever you have to go.
Let's see, I gather you have in mind death--maybe hanging in particular?--for bike thievery (although I'm not sure how universal the penalty was for horse stealing, that's what comes to mind). Is this too radical an idea for what? Posting on some internet site for (attempted) giggles when you cannot think of anything else to do or say?
