For those wondering what might go into a lugged frame build, this (http://www.bikeforums.net/showthread.php?t=399311) step-by-step, with commentary might help.
FWIW, it certainly isn't my work. The guy is only doing it for personal enjoyment, so I don't feel too guilty posting the link.

That really was a very Cool thread.
It's interesting to see how low tech the process is.
It would be cool to see Serotta put a thread together like that showing how they use more hight tech stuff for something like on Ottrott.
2 methods to achieve a common goal.

Ahh, but don't confuse low tech with easy. Reading between the photos suggests that the originator of that thread might have a clue. The filing alone on the seat cluster arrangement may represent a couple of hours work.
Look at what this (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Peter_Carl_Faberg%C3%A9) gentleman was able to accomplish back in the day.

Fully agree. Often low tech means more skill is required.
