he's a machine. he used to ride for klein in the early 90s. there's also the story that he doesn't like riding with the chamios and rips them out of his shorts. like i said, a machine.

Tinker and I had a little chat as he blazed past me mid-race. ;)

What amazes me is that he pulled a 1:05 first two laps when the course was absolute snot and mud. 1:30's were MUCH more common with built up clay and muck actually stopping bikes from rolling. Then he turns in nine more laps.

Hell, I'm going to roll it solo next year. FANTASTIC event, yall come.

I've seen him on rides around here(Boulder), a couple of times recently. He is always very cordial. Nice guy. No attitude. Just sayin.
