I think I saw a family of loons on the river, snaky necks but too low in the water to be mergansers, I think. Six of them all looking different directions, definitely a family. Several herons waiting to eat and the baby geese have hatched. Many fuzzy yellow guys walking around with two extremely watchful and belligerent parents.
The lilacs are in bloom. The air tastes nice.
I guess I have to get the glasses out, though. Between the pollen and the gnats I am nearly driven mad.
