I experienced a momentary loss of identity as a cyclist and became a bike rider last week when I ordered an article of clothing from Bike Nashbar.

A Skil/Shimano team jersey.

It has to be the lousiest piece of... clothing that I've ever purchased.

70 dollars worth of low self esteem with bad sublimation.

I couldn't even give it away at our neighborhood yard sale last weekend.

(It's an XL if anybody wants it:)

My Boxer will wear it....he's not a slave to fashion or bad sublimation. ;)

But then what would the neighborhood dogs think of your boxer as a dog and you as a dog owner?

Sandy

PS- Your boxer received a great home. So did the one with the long ears.

Let's be realistic here. Your dog wears a nashbar jersey and boxer shorts and you say that he is secure in his Boxerhood? Shameful! :)

Wearing Nashbar, Joe Boxer, or Rapha newsprint, he’s still faster than any other dog in the hood.

I think the poor guy is asking for a new home. :)

Sandy

PS- Those are the same boxer shorts I use when I am cycling. I think that the style police would approve! :)

I was going to say, somebody needs to post a dog picture otherwise it just wouldn't be a proper thread.

When I was working in a bike shop that kind of stuff made me laugh almost as much as when a customer brought in a shiny new Scattante or a Kane that doesn't fit and needs to be "tune up".

You are a foole, I had offered you the same one, new in bag, for half that amount. All is NOT lost, Sean Kelly wore something similar...

You were confused.

those jerseys are intended to wear during construction (Skil) or Fishing (Shimano).

Not for biking.

They say Skoda right on them which means "for getting dirty" in German.
