Holy smokes, there's a CDA in the Serotta garage that would actually fit my T-rex body! It's a 62-56 and with a 72 head and seat angle that would mean the reach is really, really short--just what I need.

I absolutely don't need another bike, and don't have the build parts now, but I've read so much praise here for the CDA, that I'm thinking about it. After all, how often will I see a bike advertised with those dimensions. At $1800 for the frame and fork, is this a deal that I shouldn't pass up?

It's a beautiful color, too! But here's the best reason to get it: Shipping Weight: 0.00 pounds !!!!

When something like this happens to me I feel the hand of fate at hand!

Besides, it's juicy as all heck!

Could a private individual sell it at anywhere near that price?

Frames that don't sell get their prices lowered periodically until they do sell. If you are "on the fence" then wait and see. If you get a better deal it was meant to be. Otherwise someone else will get it and it was not meant to be.

I got a Legend Ti and F-3 fork from the Serotta Garage for $1,790. So a better deal is possible.

Thanks. Good advice. I think I'll wait awhile. Something more like $1,200 would push me over the edge.

It might be worth asking if they'll entertain reasonable offers... Can't hurt, and the worst they can say is "No."

My CDA new in 04 was that much, frame only. I don't think you could go wrong, especially if the size is dead on. Listen to the little voice telling you to buy it. Every time I wait on something like this to go down in price, someone buys it out from under me.

There was a Fierte Ti in my size that I saw while at work one day. I don't know how long it had been in the garage but when I got home from work it was gone!

if u have a hard time finding something custom, go for it. I wasn't looking for another nice frame either but I ended up getting someone's CIII earlier this year. Its sitting in my closet until I get parts for it. sigh. I figure at worst a Legend might pop up in my size and I'll sell the CIII...
