butch martin, one of the most celebrated american cyclists of the 20th century. He has started riding again and rode the 1-2-3 field at PIR tonight. We road 18 laps, 35 miles, and averaged about 28mph. Butch is 60 yrs old but still very elegant and efficient on the bike. He rode the sweet spot the entire race. I hope some of those young squids were watching and learning from the master. Unfortunately, I know better than that.
