Seatpost binder bolt issue

I have a lugged steel frame with a pretty simple seatpost binder bolt--just threads through the other side. Not an elegant Campy-style bolt. I'm worried about pinching the lug--the spacing seems just a shade bigger than 27.2 (and won't take a 27.4). I was curious whether there's an aftermarket product or other hardware solution--for example, a spacer that would fit between the cut in the lug and prevent pinching down the road.

(P.S. I'm pretty sure the seat tube lug is a Pacenti Artisan if that helps.)
