threaded headset with high stack height

Im looking at threaded 1 inch headset with a high upper one piece stack height.
ive seen some pictures that are particularly high and tapered without spacers.

Will an english threaded headset fit an italian thread fork?

Yes; English and Italian threaded headsets are interchangeable. The only difference between the two is the thread PROFILE; thread pitch and diameters are the same.
