Okay. Just heard from my pal at Moots that my new frame is ready a couple of weeks earlier than planned. I had been leisurely looking for the paint scheme I want to have Spectrum do but now I need some assistance. I want a panel job. Blue frame, white panels, black lettering. The issue is getting the right shade of blue. Maybe something along the line of the blue in the 9th row of dots over there.... I would appreciate any good pictures you guys might have.

My fav bluejob so far...

biggy version: seafoam house of colors pearl on white pearl (http://www.pezcyclingnews.com/photos/tech/bontrager/bontrllarge.jpg)

Not panels but works well. If you're sending it in, send the fork, seat post and stem too... maybe also bars.

My Toei is close to Gios blue but a bit darker. It has worn well on the eyes.

Oh, that's really nice. Welcome, Peztech! You seem to know some good stuff. Nice to have you aboard.

This is probably a lighter shade than you desire but I've seen none finer...

This would be a close second...

You could always play with the Serotta Paint Program (http://www.serotta.com/paint/index.html): it's very cool (just select a bike with the "Panel" or "Indy" paint scheme)...

Cobalto Century. White panel, black lettering.

Very similar to the blue used by Subaru on the original run of WRX sedans.

I like a blue bike as much as the next guy...but Chris asked this question in 2008, and sold the bike in 2010. Paint looks great, I thought long and hard about buying it (TT too short) but...why are we posting pictures of bikes here?

Here's a link if you want to see how it came out.

Sure, no harm or foul, fortunately pixels are still pretty cheap. I'm pretty sure there was a blue bike thread someplace. Anyway, by all means, carry on.

That RS is hot BTW. I don't think I've ever seen one with couplers. Did he do that, or was that aftermarket?

I'll play...'85 Basso Gap (I think) with early 2000ish Campy 10 speed. Now has Mavic Ksyriums thanks to some crazy piece of metal that a paceline rolled over last fall & rendered the heavier wheels in the photo a little less than perfect....it's a comfortable ride.
