I don't know what's more impressive... the bike or the price it's getting?

Although any nice bike in such a small size just looks a little odd to me. Every nice collector's bike should be in a 57cm frame size (which happens to be my size).

recently I have seen those x**x all over bike parts auctions on ebay. something about them seems fishy to me. the worst part is, whoever they are, they want what i like.

there is nothing fishy about the "x" ebay is doing that - not the bidders

the seller can see who the bidders are - just not everyone else

Seems a little gaudy to me. I think it won the pimp of the year award 3 years running.

I agree...

It would've been a lot classier if it was all polished silver, with gold "Campagnolo" on all the components (and maybe gold-anodized titanium bolts).

... but it's still impressive.

I can't believe that he forgot the cable end cap!

Anybody think this seller will find a bidder for the Lotus?

BTW, those are euros not dollars. in Dollars, you are looking at $23K

The bike looks perfect.

But nice bikes in that (my) size _are_ very rare.

I hope the sale is legit.
