While we argue about gas prices and values and so on, we know to the pound - to within one percent - how much air is in our bike tires.

I'll betcha that we don't know within 20% how much air is in our car tires.

Go check, and for every pound you're off the number printed on the sidewall or in your owner's manual send a buck to the Davis Phinney Foundation.

Then inflate your tires to the proper pressure and stop wasting gas.

We now return you to your regularly scheduled programming.

Sorry, check mine weekly. But I'd send anyway. :)

As further penance I'll inflate the car tires with my floor pump!

If you are serious, you'll use a frame-pump. :)

Half a dozen or so CO2 cartridges and you are good to go, takes fewer of the 16 gram but I cant find them as easy, ;) :p
