Hey,

Final review/defense of my thesis today.

Jury: William Stover (Museum of Fine Art, Boston), Laura McPhee (lauramcphee.com), Eirik Johnson (http://eirikjohnson.com), Nick Nixon, Abe Morell (http://www.abelardomorell.net), Matt Connors, and Larry Sultan.

Took just over one hour. I nearly puked out of nervousness.

I will be receiving my degree!!!!

Now I go apply for a job at Whole Foods.

Congratulations!

I took the bar exam once. No plans to do that again. Figgered out later that I wouldn't care to practice law. On to more wholly rewarding interests.

Well Whole Foods has good benefits and good food for cyclist;)
I feel your pain BROTHA!
By the way your work looks much better in person than on the web. Not that it looks badly on the web - it simply looks that much better in person.
Oh and thanks for the beers.
CONGRATULATIONS,
girlie

It's been a lonnnng time since I defended a thesis, but I still sorta vaguely remember the feeling of the skies parting and the weight lifted. Good for you.

No kidding, that's hard to defend in my naieve estimation as time and availablity of thesis to defend become increasingly less obvious and unavailable they seem to be more esoteric and you are "stuck" defending infront of folks who did write the book? Is it me? Do tell.
PS - I hear Magill is the place for you.
