Passover was a tough one this year. Was "up" in (Hel)LA from San Diego laying my Mom to rest.

We're very sorry for your loss.

My own mom has been struggling with her health for a bit over a month now, and was in the ICU not too far back. She still has a ways to go, but she's stable and, with some assistance, was able to be brought to my house for the seder last night. We'll be thinking of you.

Please accept our condolences.

sn69,
Sorry to hear of your loss. I find seders to be both difficult at times without loved family members there, but they are always with us and we remember them fondly each year. There is always "Remember when Zadie did this or Bubbie did that"

Take care.

Sn - losses are difficult at any time of year but holidays especially. You will be in our thoughts and prayers.

Larry - I thought seder table discussion was limited to whose matzo balls were the lightest and whose we could use as boat anchors!

Sn: Sorry for your loss.

Went to a Seder at Bonz's house on Saturday and had a great time.

Second night, seder at my house. A good time, as my youngest son was finally to read the 4 questions in Hebrew

SN, may her memory serve as a blessing.

Proposed fifth question: Why is Campy so much better than other gruppos?

Bruce,

The conversation also remembers who could not handle the four glasses of wine, why it was unfair where the afiikomen was hidden and how much it was worth once finding it. Then there is the styandard as why was bubbie's seders always better and who makes the best fried matzoh.

As far as the fith question of "Why is Campy better than Shimano" that is not just a Passover question, but isn't it a daily one.

See you tonight.

Or...

Manish Tanah, Halailah hazeh Campy: Why on this niught do we only ride Campy when during the rest of the year we ride Campy and Shimano?

I think this is the only bike list i know where zadie and bubbie are familiar terms! my bubbie and I used to giggle at my zadie in temple when he would daven. i miss them both. Happy Passover!

Second night, seder at my house. A good time, as my youngest son was finally to read the 4 questions in HebrewNice! Mazel Tov to the little one!

This year, we sang the four questions to the tune of "Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious". My wife found a website with some clever and/or corny Passover songs. It entertained her, at least.

sn69 - My deep sympathies. My wife's grandfather died at Pesach in 1976, the year we met. She still misses him, and lighting the yartziet candle has become a part of our seder.
