Yeah, well, I'll never contend for the world championship either!

Still, not only is that an amazing piece of footage and a testament to tubular/tubeless tires, but I can't believe it took the announcer that long to figure out what the camera was focusing on!

they have to be looking at the screen, and not just blathering on...
It happens in Formula 1 all the time... someone will be making a long winded
remark about something that happened thirty years ago, while the 1 moment
of action in the whole race happens!

Was that a real Colnago, or a rebadged Peg?

It is a bititan, not a steel frame.

i have a video of that race.
it was imo one of the greatest team efforts in a wc race that i have ever seen.
the swiss and the spanish... indurain... gianetti, man, you gotta watch the whole thing... fabulous.

i forgot about the flat tire finish...
but the race leading to that is incredible to watch.
team race. indurains greatest hour- he gave up the wc to his teammate willingly..he was by a country mile the strongest one there.
