I';m looking for something with a 26.0 clamp, 76 degree rise but probably a little more quill extension than the XA.

Im not sure how much the XA can extend from the top of the headset to the top(binder bolt) 6 cm? I think I can settle for a 7-8cm but want to 75 degree or more.

Some of the Modolo's have greater quill lengths.

I have dealt with them and they do a good job describing the quality of their products. Also, have the 101 stem and it is even cooler looking out of the box.

NOS Store ( http://stores.ebay.com/The-New-Old-Stock-NOS-Bicycle-Shop_Stems_Cinelli-Quill-26-0_W0QQcolZ2QQdirZQ2d1QQfsubZ361759018QQftidZ2QQtZk m)

Funny...just a few days ago I asked the NOS guys to tell me the measurement from the minimum insertion line to the top of the stem on an XA. I was told 7cm.

I take no responsibility for that actually being correct, but that's what I was told....

just for the really curious. . . there was a Cinelli stem with a wedge that looked just like the XA, but had a bit more rise . . . mine is 80 degrees rather than 73, I think. it cost less. It was called the XE, I think.

nowadays, most of the time the Nitto Pearl is the way for me. Doesn't look like a XA; it looks like a 1A.
