i recently purchased a colorado lt. the geometry is as folows: 57ctc seat tube,56 ctc top tube. the tubing is tange prestige, which is good. can anybody tell me what the "LT" stand for?

Now if I recall correctly Serotta once made two sorts of models of the "same" bike, one with a long top tube and the other not so long. I believe that the LT is...well, you guess which one.

I have a '92 Colorado LT, the tubing is indeed Tange Prestige. If I remember correctly it was in between the Colorado II and the Colorado TG. I purchased the bike NOS in around '95 and now has over 25K on it. The paint is black to green fade. I'll try to get a picture posted next week. As for the LT.. I can't help you there..I'm sure is not for "light".. :) BTW the size on mine is 56 X 56 or what they used to called 56L. Nice stiff BB and nice lugs, I'm sure you will enjoy the bike...It really comes alive over 25 mph...

thanks for your help. the bike has a great ride. its a little heavier than my 2 year old c-iii.
