One of my friends turns the big 6-0 next month, and because he's always complaining about his knees bugging him and that's why he's not riding much, (of course doesn't stop him from gym, swim, yoga 5-6 days a week) I thought of getting him a walking cane. Of course with my tongue planted firmly inside my cheek, I'd have to get him one with a built-in knife, sword, gun, gps, cell-phone, rpg-launcher, porn, etc... Any ideas?

thanx

There are several companies that make nice sword canes. You should check local laws, as concealed fix blades are illegal in some states. ATMO.

as an alternative to a sword, you might check this out:

Makhila (http://www.makhila.com/pub-anglais/makhila/index.htm)

"The handle is either all metal or garnished with woven leather straps and is finished with a horn or worked metal pommel. The handle can be unscrewed revealing the makhilas deadly secret; a forged spike. Thus it was not only used for walking but also as a defensive weapon ! "
