I spotted a 2006 Fierte Ti on sale for $2499.00 at the LBS in the town I'm in for business reasons. The build was a Columbus Fork - model unknown, Easton wheels, Ultegra group, Richey Stem, FSA seatpost, Fizik Aliante saddle, that's all I can remember. The LBS is an authorized Serotta dealer. I've only got a couple of days before I return home. I need opinions on this bike.
Thanks......
if it fits... buy it.
what general location are you? chances are someone here knows the shop and can further offer advice....

If it fits - - it is a nice bike...
a new Fierte lists at some of the dealers I know at around 3400. Depending on fork.
Have it shipped to you if another state and save the sales tax in that state

We bought a Fierte Ti 2006 with almost the exact same configuration (Ultegra 10sp, Easton Vista SL, Kestrel fork, FSA stem, bars, and post, Fizik saddle, Conti Attack/Force tires) for my partner. She absolutely loves it. The somewhat relaxed geo and forgiving Ti gives it a plush ride. We bought ours out of state for $300 less than the price you were quoted and had it shipped to us, thus saving the tax. Good luck.

Is that the 100% Ti version? Man, that's a nice bike. Nicer even than the version where Serotta added the carbon rear. In either case, if it fits, it's a bargain and a half.
Serotta's stock geos rule - you're better off with them than with anything less than an expert fitting.
