yamaguchi (http://www.yamaguchibike.com/content/Index)

There was a nice write up about him in the Denver Post today - he does a short intensive class for the local college kids - they can build their own frames with him!

Saw that he was mentioned in the framebuilders thread, but I didn't do a full search. Sounds like quite a guy!

Yamaguchi makes me hot......in a very non-sexual cyclistic kind of way. :D

I know that he is famous for his track bikes. But I am curious if anyone has ridden one of his road bikes.

I cant believe that they would be anything short of amazing. I heard about him when I lived in colorado and he had a Rep for making bikes that rode like laser beams.

Yamaguchi had a short stint at Proteus here in Maryland in the mid 80's......by the time anybody figured out that he was there and what he was building, he was off to set up his own shop in Colorado.....and the Proteus frames returned to crap so as not to create any undue expectations of quality....
