Anybody ever try a cassette with this treatment?

"HI PERFORMANCE CERAMIC COATED"

SHIMANO XTR CS M960 CASSETTE

12-34 TOOTH

This XTR cassette is in excellent condition showing minimal wear and has a professionally applied ti blue ceramic coating. With our photo's we want to show clean, clear, and close views of our items. We have been coating XTR crank-sets with ceramic and have had excellent results and feedback over the past year and half. We have been testing the coating on cassette's for several months and it's a great upgrade. The main advantage to this coating is that it has self lubricating properties and water, mud, dirt, and lubricants do not build up and cause drive train malfunction. And with contaminates not sticking you will extend the life of your chain and other drive components. If your tired of stopping to clean the muck from your drive train, then your going to love what this coating does. If you have questions and would like more information about our coatings please ask.

It makes sense. It seems like it should work.

"HI PERFORMANCE CERAMIC COATED"

.
the only problem stays that the wear is caused by the E module of the cassette and less by surface wear

but it helps only its create´s more friction with certain ceramics
