The F3 fork in a very well built carbon fork and recommended.

In regard to a steel fork, let me suggest Curt Goodrich, David Kirk, or Steve Hampsten. (there are others, but I have first hand experience with these folks. Richard Sachs would be another one but I am not sure he sells forks alone.

Call portland...There is a whole chapter on making forks.
