Contrary to many companies Colnago is actually very open and honest about what frames are made where.

just to add.
country of origin laws are extremely lax in italy.. more so that other european countries. just to throw that in the soup, a lot of times its hard to track the actual factory that actually makes the stuff.
few "italian" marques make carbon stuff in italy. some eastern europe, some asia.

I'm waiting to buy olive oil with a sticker on the bottom that reads, "Made in China."

Guinness will always be made in Ireland, this is the only thing in life you can count on atmo.

You may want to check your facts on that. US bound bottled stuff was brewed in Canada.

Human nature is the one thing you can always count on. If there's a profit to be made by screwing the rest of the world, it'll happen every time.

Oh yeh, the bike doesn't matter. The only people looking at the bike are on this forum, they guy riding it could care less where it was made when the picture was taken.

If it's a Giant built frame, it's a better built frame than many.

All Carbon layups for their high-end frames are made by ATR in Italy.

I know when my wife and I were in West Negril. Jahmaicamahn, the Guiness there was brewed on the island. Doesn't matter where you go or where its made that foamy little head is always good

Does America even make apple pie anymore? Chevy is now China. Heck, at least we still have baseball.

The CLX is pretty high end... a $5000 bike. it's made by Giant.
not that there is anything wrong with that. I know a few guys
whose favorite Colango in the line is the CLX

Biggest Guiness brewery is in Nigeria! Brewed all over the world with permission. The best stuff really is that brewed in Ireland.

Indeed. A very good frame, I've heard. A little too "curvy" for me. By high-end I meant C-50, EP, EC. I should have clarified.

That's a no brainer. It's a domestic series - just calling it the 'World Series' doesn't make it so. I for one have no problem where a nice frame is made if the skill and experience is there. False stickering is another issue.

Oh, and Guinness in this country is brewed here from yeasty concentrate or something.

DarrenCT is the master brewer atmo. Connecticut makes great women's basketball, Guinness and lugged frames.
