anyone else notice?

Have you noticed the difference in cushioning on various Rolls saddles? Sometimes the padding is quite stiff, and others are quite cushy. I prefer the cushy ones, but you never know what is going to show up when buying online. I ride with a couple buddies who use the same saddle, and we all find ourselves with the stiff saddles laying around the shop. Is this just poor quality control?
