For the last 18 months or so I have been lending moral support to a rider from Kenya named Ibrahim Wafula in his bid to participate in the 2008 Paralympics. Ibrahim is an incredible athlete and true inspiration to me. Please take a few moments to visit his web site. http://www.iwafula.com/
I am sure you will feel inspired to assist him in his efforts too. His current need is a place to stay (for about 4 months) when he lands in the US on May 20th to train in the US for the Paralympics in Beijing in August of 2008. My family and I would like to take him in, but with our pending move west it's just not possible right now.
