I recently picked up a nice circa early 80’s Olmo that’s pantographed up the yazooty, but unfortunately the down tube and seat tube decals are gone. Strangely, the paint is in great shape, so I’m guessing the decals may not even have been clear coated. Anyone know of a source for replacement decals?
Thanks,
Joe

If you have the whole bike repainted then JB, Brian Baylis, or CyclArt can all restore the decals or use a stencil technique that is equally effective. The place to find the decals, if they are out there, is from Nick at H Llloyd in the UK. Look here: http://ourworld.compuserve.com/homepages/NICK_AT_LLOYDS/home.htm
You could go directly to Olmo but try getting a response...more likely to fall down into the chasm of the Alternative Bike Universe (tm). But if I were doing what you are looking to do then Nick it would be followed by the question of repaint and its worth to you. Last year I repainted two old Bridgestones which are nice but not "special" bikes and I could not be happier. Sure, it's a ton of paint for a cheap frame but it's what I like, it's got sentimental value to me and Bstones are a _great_ ride. Know what you love and spend what makes you happy.

. . . a place out in Colorado called Victory Circle Graphics that does race car and other decals. Send ‘em a digital file and they will output for you. They told me they could do a complete set for my Fisher Hoo Koo E Koo for about $30.

Do a web search and they will turn up.
