Anybody know if a Shimano lock ring will work with a Campy cassette and hub?

Campy has had a few different diameter lockrings. A 26 and 27mm diameter if I can remember. With a modern one the diameter is smaller than a shimano. So no it has never really worked. Also make sure if you are using an 11 that you have the size specific lockring.
