I recalled you were involved with the foundation when I saw the article.
I hope Davis finds some relief with the surgery, and I hope Tayor finds continued success on the bike.

I met Davis at the 2005 Serotta Open House where he rode with us and he
and Ron gave a great talk. It was a real pleasure to meet him.

I pray that the strength and talent that brought him 300+ wins also carries
him through this next challenge.

I remember meeting him after the 1992 First Union Grand Prix in Atlanta. Lance had won as amateur (19 years old if I recall). When Phinney was asked about Lance, he said, "Man! That kid is the real deal!"
