Wow. I'll have nightmares that one of those things has me trapped and intends to have it's way with me.

Impressive. I found myself rooting for it when it was in particularly difficult spots.

It helps you realize how complicated natural systems are when you try to duplicate them with machines.

I almost feel bad for it when that guy tries to kick it over...and when it slipped on the ice. It's not hard for me to imagine that thing gaining artificial intelligence and taking over the planet.

Z,

Our responses demonstrate a very human quality - how quick we are to empathize.

I wonder if they will program that into the robots also...

Cool...but why?

Not like it's going to be able to sneak up on anything in travel mode. Sounds like it has a cox engine running it.

Truly amazing. Genius! I hope they give it a quieter motor at some point.

It looks like something you might see in a Star Wars movie.

If there is a way to invest in that technology it is a guaranteed winner.

That is the future.

The software, not the dog.

I have to say, the Beta version is a lot less scary.

Please don't for a moment think that I had anything to do with this production, it's sad enough that I even found it.

It's interesting to me that their solution to traversing bad terrain is to duplicate a biological system (a four-legged animal). I wonder whether they started with duplication as the goal, or with the broader goal of creating something that could handle really bad, uneven surfaces.

Pretty impressive.
