first post, looking for a couple of things.

my LBS has an 06 54cm fierte for sale. going to be marked down over the weekend - cant be good to have a bike sit for 2 years in inventory. anyways, i am trying to determine what a good price will be.

first question, where can i find the specs for this 06 bike? is there an archive section on the website? my reasonably quick perusal didnt dig anything up.

next question - i think the bike has been sitting at $3400. its the TI/carbon combo, not steel. again would like feedback on price if this is the right spot to ask. i am pretty sure it is built with ultegra.

thanks in advance for any recommendations.

my other two (not as sexy) choices are a felt z25 or roubaix (sp?). ultimately i am going with whichever one does the least damage to my lower back. im hopeful the serotta will feel the best.

well, mostly ultegra, but i saw a ritchey stem, cant remember what the cranks and wheels are.

i was hoping to find the web archive and look at the spec sheet to see if that jogged my memory.

Is a quick "spin" enough for you to really know if your lower back is truly in love?

so serotta doesnt keep documentation about their old stuff online?

the LBS is going to put me up on the bike on the trainer tomorrow and thoroughly check the fit. they have a 100% replacement if it just doesnt work - even after it rolls away from the shop. they are a pretty solid local store.

Sounds expensive to me due to a surplus of Serotta bikes available. Full Shimawhatever bikes haven't sold for 100's less on ebay from Serotta dealers. Offer them a lower price and see if they bulge. I bet they will.
