Pete, this is not politics; it's science fiction. On the other hand, it may become how electoral votes are determined.

Which has been voted the most corrupt state in the country. Try the ex Govs latest go around for pure sleeze. Sharp James is on trial. Some years ago, when I was working on my tennis ranking, he was sponsoring a tournament which I entered. The day before I was supposed to play I get a letter saying it had been cancelled. I am still waiting for the entry fee to be returned. :crap:

Anyone see The Late Show with David Letterman Monday night? They did a little faux commercial about Edward G. Rendell, the governor from Pennsylvania: something about how, not to be outdone by Spitzer or McGreevey, Rendell has been nailing hookers, gigolos, transvestites, old couples, dogs, babies... The tag line was

"Ed Rendell -- he's into some freaky **** too!"

I'm probably among the more conservative members of the forum, and I don't see this as a problem. OK, so they had some issues in their marriage previously where they both spent some time getting their freak on. I give them credit for realizing what's important and doing the work to save their marriage. They're together now, and as long as he's not schtupping some intern on the side or paying some bimbo for "escort services", I say leave him be. Give him a chance to restore some semblance of order and right the listing ship that is the State of NY.

If it isn't materially affecting the constituents or against the law or the rules of the workplace, these are also circumstances where it should be left alone. Just saying.

If a man or woman cannot be faithful in their marriage, he/she cannot be trusted. If you'd lie to your partner of marriage, you'd lie all day long. Of course, atmo.

I remember when Sharp James hit a tennis ball into David Dinkins's eye. Dinkins looked like a space-alien for about a week.

. . . they BOTH admitted to having extramarital relations during a difficult time in their marriage. I also have yet to see any interviews where they say they lied to each other about them. Please guide me . . .

On the other side of the coin, the first time I realized that my marriage was over except in name was when I realized beyond a doubt that she had deliberately lied to me. It was a sad say.

Their affairs were lies for timeperiod 'abc' or 'xyz', again...until the affairs were dug up/pointed out to them by the media. The Patersons lied to eachother, no? An affair is a lie, true? So they (the Patersons) lied to eachother, the public and then, oopsy daisy, they had to tell the truth as the lies were presented to them. It ain't noble in my book to tell the truth when confronted with the lie; it is noble not to lie at all, or tell the truth of your own accord.

I live in NJ and I didn't even get a ballot. Who votes on this stuff anyhow? I used to live in MA and thought that it was best in class. But, come to think of it, LA is good too. Is Chicago a state?
