now that that's out of the way -
how do you get the cassette body extracted from a dt 240s hubmo?
neither side of the axle has a 5mm or flat area to hold anything, and
i wanna finish the leap by replacing the campagnolo body with the
sram body. anyone know the steps? are there special tools needed?
dtswiss phone lines are worthless and the pdf manual is too large to
download atmo.
It's easier to do with a cassette mounted.

I'll see if I can find a better link but Roadboy's description should be adequate:
"you dont need any special tools, you can pull the freehub body off by hand, just put a cog on the body and use the lockring to hold it on then just pull and the freehub body slides off, all other bearings can be removed with a drift and then you can use the old bearings to tap in new bearings. I have done this on many DT Swiss and Dt hugi hubs. the tools are exspensive and un needed"

The whole damn forum has gotten weird. I kinda like it and have come to expect it so it doesn't weird me out anymore.
On another note are prepositions sometimes bothersome to you? Seems they rule my sentence building sometimes.

hey i like threads like thismo.
gdw tightened me up in less than an hour,
and i was able to finish converting the new
dt 240s wheels from a campagnolo body to
a sram body. the leap is finally completemo.
the knowledge base here rocks atmo cheers.

Fer shur. I heart the knowledge base. These guys pissin and moanin about the new side banner ought to think how much they'd miss it if it was gone. I know I make several trips to this page nearly every day. I would really miss it.
