used SRAM Rival question

I am thinking of trying a set of Rival shifters and derailleurs out. How much are these three items worth if they are in good shape with no crashes?

Last year I bought a set of used Force shifters, rear derailleur, chain, and cassette for $350.00 if that helps for a potential benchmark.

This is my technique - switched from Shimano to Campy by buying a used 8spd Chorus group. Now my Serotta has 10spd Chorus.

I am very happy with Campy, but so many people rave about SRAM that I am interested in giving it a try, but with low financial investment.

I have been offered about $275 for the three items. The owner rides his bike pretty hard, so I am a BIT apprehensive, but I figure that he likely hasn't destroyed them.
