View Full Version : Powertap 2.4 low spoke count?

Do any of you folks have experience with running a low spoke count on a powertap hub? I don't personally know anyone dumb enough to try this warranty-voiding technique. But say I knew a guy who might have a 32 spoke hub laced to a 24 spoke carbon rim, oh, in a 8 1x non-drive and a 16 1x drive side configuration. . . would you say he was an idiot?

Buy a 24h hub. If you messed up the hub later in another way and it needed warranty, what would Saris say when they saw it?
