I bought these shorts from Nashbar:

and was disturbed that I found some mealy holes in the chamois after two launderings:

what could this be? Could the suspenders be placing a vertical shear on the fabric near the base of the genitals? There is no rancid, or cheesy odor-

Has any one else has this issue?

And Boure (Durango/Ned) takes back used shorts. I unnerstand that most places don't. EVERYTHING I wear that isn't team kit or picked up for closeout pricing or at a yardsale :p comes from Boure.
