Red bar tape that stays RED!?

Everything I've tried "stretches out" to become more of a pale red, almost pinkish...anyone got a recommendation for a bar tape that will stay what I would call Fire Engine Red? I'm going to try the new Fizik Bright Red if I don't get any better information, anyone tried that?

the bontrager stays red and get darker as time goes on.

The colour is a really rich red and it has a nice smooth feel. Great with the bar gel underneath the loaded areas. I had the black version for ages on anothere bike and it wore well too.

Just ask me how many rolls of red bar tape I've bought :rolleyes:

Fizik -- This is a darker red that should hold it's color well, but just so you know, this tape is on the thin side with not much padding. I tried this with their bar gel and that was just too thick for my liking.

Stella Azzurra Eleganza -- Love the feel of this tape, but it doesn't last long at all and I don't like their red...it's has this faded out look right out of the box.

Cinelli Cork -- Not a bad color...not a deep or dark red. It holds up well and works great if you like the cork tape feel.

Deda Tape -- This one gets my vote. The color is darker than the Cinelli (but not by much) and it has a similar feel to the Cinelli cork, but I the feel better. It holds up great. I haven't had this on very long, so I can't comment on how the red color ages...fading hasn't been an issue with their other colors.

I'd be interested to know what you end up trying.
