According to Forbes Magazine's annual list of the richest people in the world-

1. Warren Buffett, Berkshire Hathaway's Chairman, worth approximately $62 billion.

2. Carlos Slim, Mexican telecommunications mogul, worth approximately $60 billion.

3. Bill Gates, Microsoft's co founder worth approximately $58 billion.

Just so happens that Mr. Buffet & Co ownes 80% of the company i work for. pretty cool IMO. he seems like a pretty interesting guy. but he's not the richest..........I AM! it's all due to my loving family and close nit group of firends. several of them actually hang out on this forum. cheers to them all :beer:

since most of her wealth is now officially "loaned" to the state, it never shows up on those lists; but the richest person in the world is actually queen beatrix of the netherlands....they ever disband the monarchy she gets shell oil and billions of dollars in property and art.
