Hey Mister (can't believe I said that...) -

Is that a KG-14 you've got there (2nd from left)? I've got one as well (the 'Robert Johson' guitar...). Yours looks like it's sort of narrow in the upper bout - but maybe that's just the photo?

This is the guitar I purchased this summer after asking for some advice on purchasing guitars. I really appreaciated everyone's help. I ended up with a guitar that plays well and has a wonderful sound.

I don't have any pictures but have a Martin HD28 guitar and a Fairbanks Whyte Ladie banjo. I bought a Martin 0016DBM for my wife that was signed by Chris Martin. The banjo and wife's guitar are cool...need to get pictures.

Whyte Laydie No. 2 or No. 7? Also, is this an A.C. Fairbanks (pre-1910) banjo, or does it also have the word 'Vega' on it (stamped on the dowel stick)? Whatever the case, these were some of the finest banjos ever made.

A pic would be cool if you've got one.

I just checked. It's a No. 2 (#24090). It has lots of pearl with an eagle head on the headstock. It was played a lot...but not by me.

I had to pawn my camera to get my guitars out. :p

Okay, maybe they're mostly there and I'm really here. Well I have one or two here, but the camera is there. And it's outta tune.

My axes are much prettier than I play them. Suppose that's a good reason to photograph them. [adds to list]

Okay, as you were.

great collection. PRS is located nearby....the famous man himself is very quick to donate guitars for charities, raffles, etc. for local causes.

Nice - that SN puts it at ~1908. There should also be a metal nameplate on the center of the dowel stick (they switched to a stamped/imprint on the dowel stick in 1910). In any event, nice banjo - great tone; some of the best ever made.

No pictures yet, soon. This should appeal to all the guitar junkies on this forum. Anyone from the Northeast planning on attending?

david (& otaybw), thanks guys! it's an honor.

it's an ES-125T. the shop (guitarville here in seattle) couldn't date it for me exactly, but probably '59. the red on it is a clumsy, old-school spray job that makes me smile when i look up close. it's part of the picture, i think. . .

i'll tell you a little story about this guitar. dave dederer (of the presidents) came over once and played it accoustically and through my 1960 magnatone and told me if he could only have one setup for the rest of his life, this would be it.

i recently had some work done on the amp and i have to say though i don't play a fraction as well as i'd like to, the sound makes me very, very happy.

Here's a poor quality pic of five of my seven guitars. From left to right, '65 Guild classical, '03 Larry OM-3R, Larry SD-50, '77 Hagstrom "Jimmy D'aquisto", finally a '76 YamahaSG-2000. Not shown a '76 Gibson Explorer and a '76 Kramer 450 bass.
I hope the pic uploads all previous attempts failed!
Cheers
