Dura Ace 9 speed and 10 speed compatibility

Are there compatability issues? My Ottrott is a 10 speed. I've got a pair of Zipp 303's on one of my other bikes with a 9 speed cassette. Can I use this on the Ottrott, or do I need to get a new cassette?

You can use your 10-speed cassette with your Zipps, yes. Just use the supplied spacer and it'll work just fine, no problemo. Jeff N.

I am not sure that I understood your ans :confused: wer. My question was, can I use the Zipps with its 9 speed cassette on my Serotta that is set up with Dura Ace 10 speed?

Yes, if you get a 10 speed cassette and use the tiny spacer with the cassette. You can't use a 9 sp cassette with the 10 sp drive if that's what you're asking.

The one thing not compatible is new DA 10 wheels. They can not go 9 sp.

Swap out the nine speed cassette for the 10-speed and you're fine, man. As vaxn8r stated above, nine speed cassettes are NOT compatible with 10-speed Dura Ace wheels or the new Dura Ace hubs. Jeff N.
