In the process of planning for trip to Israel in May and looking into good land/water shoes for exploring in the North. I'm thinking about the Keen h2o, Teva Wraptor or Tecnica Torrent. Anyone have ecperience with these, or can you suggest another suitable shoe? Thanks.

I might have to add cross spikes, otherwise, not technical enough.

I don't see how you could go wrong with the Teva Wraptor. I have always liked Tevas (especially after adding neoprene under the straps), finding them to fit well and, remain comfortably snug and stable when the terrain roughens. This new Wraptor appears to be as well thought out as any of them.

I have always liked Tevas .

Have they fixed their sole? I have an old pair of their sandals and I nearly killed myself wearing them in the water. I was under the impression they were supposed to keep from slipping on wet surfaces and nearly brained myself when I was fishing one day.

I still have them. Anybody want a pair of size 10 sandals cheap?

The Keens have held up great for me. I'm a big guy and I run them over some pretty rocky terrain in the summers around here.

Have they dealt with the Teva stink factor yet?

(I thought it was me...but evidently, it's a known, common problem.)

and yeah...the Teva soles weren't great on any wet surface...

The Keens are awesome. I have had the same pair for 3 years. Still look good despite many times underwater

I have ha Teva's and have 2 pairs of keens. Keens are the real deal. If I were going to Isreal I'd take my Birks and a Kevlar vest atmo.

Do the Keen H2O's run true to size?

My friends have flat tops w/ 203 grenade launchers--if necessary--but we're not going to Gaza. :)
