No other brand that I know of offers one. Shimano patented the design and now it's obsolete, so no company is going to pay much to produce it. ISIS is also about dead, but lots of companies still make it, since their is no patent restriction.

Try to get a 6500 BB if you can. Never had a problem with one.
The 5500 works good also. Thousands of trouble free miles in SoFLA.....

For years, I ignorantly thought by square taper BB with loose ball bearings was stiff enough and durable enough.

Then came Octalink telling me lies.

Lighter, stiffer, durable. Ha.

I never liked the Octalink.

I thought it was silly that road and mountain used a slightly different spline.

But chucksbikes.com has 105's for a good price:

You can buy a Dura Ace 7710 track crankset, English thread only, that is identical to an Ultegra except for a steel left hand cup. These are readily available and substitute perfectly for any of the other Octalink English-threaded double- or single-ring bottom brackets. We actually bandsawed a damaged one apart to see what it was like inside -- identical to Ultegra. Hope isn't lost. These will be around for a long time.
