So I watched the TOC prologue yesterday and after listening to
Phil Paul and Bob's preliminary reports and all the hoopla the funniest
thing happened....

With all the excitement, coverage, Cippo, Boonen and the great ride
by Cancellara I forgot about all the doping junk and got right into
the racing!

Am I just a stupid, gullable, moron who has been manipulated again by the
crafty media, like one of Pavlov's canines?

Or is bike racing turning the corner and recapturing the pagentry, style,
and compelling drama that it had in the past with a new, cleaner start?

I hope so

No,it makes you a fan. Even when I know guys who have cheated...I still come back and watch. I LOVE the sport. It is getting better, and I like that AMGEN/Medalist stuck to their guns and excluded per the agreement that all team owners had to sign.
The sport will get over the hump and even riders on Astana will move on...

Enjoy the race, the sights, the sounds, the beauty. Let everything else go in one ear and out the other.

I can't wait to see stage 3 where they go over Mount Hamilton. Should separate the contenders from the pretenders.
