use the edge of a credit card.

that is ironic.... given that one of the best ways to remove credit from your card is with a titanium frame.

Blast the decals for a minute or two with a hair dryer, scrape, and then clean the residue with something like Goo Gone or even mineral spirits.

Laquer thinner. Gone in less than 60 seconds.

I only guarantee that advice with a bare Ti frame.

Yep. Acetone or lacquer thinner is the best choice.

nail polich remover which is usually acetone i thk but easy to get in a small bottle.
then shine it w/ one of those plastic steel wool type pads.
obviously depends on the finish ...do it underneath to make sure yr happy w/ what you get.
finish with pledge wax.

Exactly, make sure it is a raw titanium frame before splashing around acetone, lacquer thinner, gasoline, or anything else! Olive oil on a paper towel works wonders if you wish to try something gentle.
That would be "EVOO" for you Rachael Ray fans out there... :D

WD 40.

OK any light weight oil will unbond residual adhesive material on metal.

on a side note... is there anything that cleans bike parts better than WD40. If so, it must be the equivalent of exceeding the speed of light.

I had used WD for quite some time to clean bike parts. I found that White Lightning Clean Streak works significantly better, it completely removes any grease, oil or sticky gunk. Be aware that any lubrication will also be gone, so you will need to relube your bike parts again.
(Clean Streak will not remove the adhesive stickers, acetone is still the best for that)

I use kerosene (2 gal) in a bench top parts washer, kind of like this one but smaller. http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/ctaf/displayitem.taf?Itemnumber=7340

Works great but I'd prefer a water soluble degreaser instead of the kero. Supposedly the pump will be damaged by water based solutions.
