I don't really get into the Westminster Dog show (http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/23096596/) ever, but I grew up hunting over beagles and always had a place for the breed in my heart. When I read about UNO, the beagle, having a shot to win the whole thing...I had to watch the best in breed portion last night.

While I thought the Weimaraner looked pretty darn good, I was pleased to see the beagle win. The commnentators said it was the first time they saw such a loud applause for best in show.

I was happy to see the little guy win.

I'm not a pet person at all, but the there was such a huge buzz about this special beagle the day before, so yeah, I stayed up to watch the show too. I don't anything about the dogs, but even I could tell there was something special about Uno's personality - he had wonderful spring to his step, a certain attitude and I liked how "verbal" he was, compared to the others.

And yeah, that Weimaraner was pretty special too. But it's nice to see the little one win.

I grew up hunting with Beagles also, and not only were they great hunting dogs, but just plain amazing companions. Seeing Uno win made my day as he's a real cutie. I heard he bayed beautifully for the judge. I wonder if I can catch the video on Youtube.

Beagles may be a "boring" breed to many, but I love'm.

The second video is funny. "We met at Starbucks. Not the same one. They were acrossed the street from each other". What a brilliant rip on that franchise.

I couldn't find any clips of Fred Willard, he's really funny. My favorite is the line in the first clip, "we could not talk and talk forever and still find things to not talk about" .
