for me, black is cool at first but then gets kinda dull over time. white always seems striking. and shows-off details better. in sunlight, pearl white is like bottled joy. maybe do deep blue panels. like dario's portland track bike but deep rich blue.

I was at a bike swap last weekend and there was a Gios hanging on the wall. It wasn't navy but it was a really deep dark blue. The color looked better than in pictures I had seen.

The De Rosa Merak was available one year in sort of a medium blue which just glowed. The guy I bought my Pinarello Opera from had one in his house. I was there for the Opera, which was a great-looking bike, but I couldn't take my eyes off of the Merak...
