Best looking bike: my '87 Paramount with the flames, '98 CSI in pearl white w/red decals or the lugged steel touring bike HHR is building for me.

Most of the pictures I've seen from the show are so bizarre as to leave me cold. Sorry, but with bikes, form follows function for me.

There was some of that, but at the show it didn't seem like it. I think a lot of photos come from people seeing something off the wall and thinking that would make an interesting photo.

There was plenty of mainstream 'counterculture' if you get my drift.

and would wholeheartedly second this sentiment. The unusual and/or blingy stuff seems to be disproportionately represented in the photo albums circulating out there. I think the show itself was much more balanced than that.
