How many do you eat? How much love/respect do you have for them? Let's talk about baked potatoes, your recipes etc.

Love 'em! Butter, salt, and robust Talamanca del Caribe black pepper from Ecuador.

My favorite potatoes are mashed, with evaporated milk, butter (or marg), and diced yellow onion stirred in raw at the end - delicious

Baked potatoes are great, one of my favorite vegetables. I usually load mine with ketchup, just like my steak, eggs, broccoli, and so many other things I eat. The best condiment ever. Chili and, or swiss cheese is good to. Bake'm once, twice, it doesn't matter.

A baked sweet potato is awfully good too.

Here's an easy, quick way to prepare. Purists will maybe take exception, screw em. Wash your spud, dry it lightly with a towel. Spray some Pam over the potato and then sprinkle with sea salt or Kosher salt. wrap in a paper towel like a burrito and put in microwave for about 8 mins. Remove, scrape off the salt and do your usual thing i.e, butter, sour cream, cheese, salt and pepper. etc. Save a tree and re-use the paper towel to wipe your chin.

Make mine a sweet potato, nuked just until it gets slightly crunchy. It's pretty good with olive oil.

i love baked potatoes with dejon mustard on them. also love a sweet potato plain. both are better when truly baked in the oven but i rarely have time and just nuke them.

The finest baked potato to be had is the foil wrapped wonders that you dig out of the coolers at the check point following the infamous "27 poles" climb during GRR (Great River Ride) every October. And judging from the look on all the other cyclist faces as they enjoy theirs.....all would agree!
