I taught I twau a Record Seatpost Skewer on Flebay ?
I think the fleabay bike shop was asking 25 frn for it.

But now I can't find it. Well ... did I see a puddy cat?

Did Campy ever make a Record seatpost skewer ....

If so ..... How could I get one and would it fit a Serotta Legend collar?

being able to slide the post down easily would facilitate loading
my bike into the Honda elephant.

My Salsa flip collar does not really secure the post tight enough,
and the post eventually slides down.

Record Or, the off road group, had a seatpost skewer.

I have one on my tandem's stoker seatpost so that I can modify it quickly for whoever I can get to go for a ride. There are various diameters. They also used to make them way back in the 50's too. They are not usually all that expensive, about $10 perhaps.

I've had problems with the Salsa not holding Thomson posts tightly enough on my mtn bikes; they always slip. Someone suggested the Hope seatpost clamps, and they work great with no slippage. http://www.universalcycles.com/shopping/product_details.php?id=97&category=168
