Here we sit,
But next week I'm in Portland
To find some color for my rebuilt fixie.
After today's dreary wet, cold ride,
I'm thinking that sky blue, with cirrus white might be a great choice.
I'm hoping to point Spectrum Powder Works to something I like on display,
I think my riding buddy's wife will be inspired to place a custom order.
I think we will discover a new favorite pub, and brew.
I hope to find a few gifts to repay favors done by friends.
And I hope to bump into a few of the strange, but friendly folks from the forum, even a few that are not so strange.
I am grateful to have the event in my neighborhood, but I feel the easterly pain from across the continent
Next year, I will may be glued to my monitor this weekend.
