I sort of consider them to be the "home team"...It took me a little while to figure it out, but I have known their sponsor for years....and knew him when he first started riding while in college.. pretty good guy. I am sure that he will see to it that other good guys can get a break........

Yeah, I like to see the US based teams do well too but this year I'm really excited about having an American team not dominated by a certain Texan.

Saw one of them out here in MN yesterday (he was riding one of last year's bikes, might be the guy second from the left in the posted picture).

Mutual nod and wave as we met one another - it was 27* and most people were ice fishing. Some commonality in the cold.

Water bottles were slush by the end of two and a half hours.

I'm behind anyone who has the guts to train for the Tour of California in temps below freezing.

Those three Toyota guys were on motor bikes. Holy cow... impressive. We had 3 to their 4 in the final break but a moments hesitation lead to their 1,2,3. Couldn't close the gap and the race was over. You can't see all that because there are no time splits in those results.
